MISSION STATEMENT

The Legal Electronic Document Institute is a Washington non-profit corporation established to promote the development of education and standards in the field of legal electronic documents, including practice management of electronic documents, electronic trial practice with litigation support systems, e-filing, e-signatures and e-discovery.

LEDI will focus its initial efforts on identifying trends and developments in the use of electronic discovery by law firms nationwide as well as furthering existing efforts to promote electronic discovery standards for use by federal and state courts nationwide.

The LEDI Advisory Board is a group of accomplished legal professionals, all of whom have well established reputations in their practice areas. This expertise, combined with the various national legal organizations with which LEDI will partner, provide a single comprehensive source for information on the constantly evolving field of electronic documents.

In addition to providing a resource for information and discussion of electronic documents, LEDI also offers consulting, expert witness and discovery master services. For more information on the Institute and it’s services, please contact the Director, Tom O'Connor.
